Located at 1015 East Las Olas Boulevard, the gallery is in the heart of downtown Fort Lauderdale's bustling arts, shopping and dining district.
Owned by Priscilla Krammer, a native of Paris who has resided in South Florida for 11 years, the gallery is a true labor of love a reflection of Krammer's own art-filled upbringing, entrepreneurial spirit and eye for talent. Krammer took on the task of creating a salon-style venue, presenting a mix of genres, media and various schools.
I believe we are doing something special with this gallery, offers Krammer. By filling the walls and all available space with a variety of works we are creating a new experience for people different from the usual gallery or museum setting. It is a joyous expression of past, present and future, that flows from the early 1900s into the 21st century.
The spacious gallery, a light-filled space with wood floors and high ceilings, provides the perfect backdrop for Saba Gallery's mix of old masters, contemporary works and cutting edge installation art.
Most of the works are by European artists blending many influences such as Expressionism, Cubism, Futurism, Post Impressionism, Fauvism, Contemporary paintings and sculptures as well as a few Latin American artists.
